Total Value Locked (TVL) and liquidity are key terms in bitcoin trading and decentralised finance (DeFi). The total value of assets deposited into a specific protocol or exchange is referred to as TVL. Users in DeFi offer liquidity by depositing their tokens into liquidity pools, which are subsequently traded on decentralised exchanges.

One site that allows traders to track TVL and liquidity on several decentralised exchanges, including Uniswap, is Dextools.io. It can link to wallets like Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, and WalletConnect, making it simple for traders to access their assets and execute transactions.

Traders can obtain a better sense of how much liquidity is available for trading on a specific exchange by tracking TVL and liquidity on Dextools.io and other similar platforms. The more the TVL, the greater the liquidity, making it easier to buy and sell tokens without experiencing slippage or price fluctuation.

Dextools.io also offers a number of tools and indicators that can assist traders in analysing price charts and making informed trading decisions. Charting tools, trading volume indicators, and other technical analysis indicators comparable to those found on TradingView are among the tools available.

One of the primary benefits of trading on decentralised exchanges such as Uniswap is the high level of liquidity and transparency, as well as the opportunity to trade without the use of intermediaries. This makes it easier and less expensive for traders to gain access to a greater choice of assets and trading possibilities.

Yet, there are certain drawbacks to trading on decentralised exchanges. They may not provide the same level of security or regulatory control as centralised exchanges, for example, which can increase the risk of fraud or theft. Furthermore, the decentralised nature of these exchanges can make them more difficult for beginner traders to navigate and operate.

Ultimately, Dextools.io and similar sites can be useful for traders trying to track TVL and liquidity on decentralised exchanges such as Uniswap. Traders may make better educated trading decisions and take advantage of DeFi's liquidity and transparency by keeping a close eye on these measures.
